Special Events

Here is the line up of Special Events that will be happening over the weekend. It is all exciting stuff!

Roll for Legends

Using improvisation, music and live role play, Roll For Legends is a theatrical Dungeons and Dragons performance. Three performers/players guided by one storyteller create an exciting original story of adventure and hilarity devised live on stage. The cultural phenomenon of Dungeons and Dragons as a storytelling medium is brought right before your eyes as we let the dice determine the fates of the intrepid crew aboard ‘The Phoenix’ in a swashbuckling adventure on the Silver Sea where neither the audience nor the performers know what will happen next.

Empty Epsilon

Back once again is the bridge simulator Empty Epsilon as run by Robb Twomey-Dunphy. In addition he’ll have a 4 player retro machine setup with hundreds of games from the 80’s and 90’s available.

Robb runs a small IT company, so in addition to the games, this year he is offering to check out laptops and repair what he can there and then. In return all he asks is you buy him a coffee or donate to the charity of the con this year.

If it can be repaired there and then with no parts, it will be. If parts are required, will advise where to get them and approximate costs.

Saturday and Sunday, all day in main hall.
