When the opportunity arose to be involved with the IGA’s efforts at raising money for Charity I jumped at the chance. I have spent many conventions over the last few years trying to find fun and geeky things to put in as lots for the Charity Auction, talking up how much Irish Gamers have done to help so many Charities in Ireland and Abroad, explaining what the Diana Jones Award is after mentioning that Irish Games Convention Charity Auctions won it back in 2006 but mostly confirming that we have raised Hundreds of Thousands of Euro for very deserving Charities.

After all that’s the biggest part of it, thanks to your help, we have been able to give much needed funding to Charities such as: DEBRA Ireland, MS Ireland, Youth Foundation Ireland, CARI, Warchild, The Meeting Place in Tramore, Children In Hospital Ireland, Temple St. Childrens Hospital, AWARE, Barretstown, Canteen & The Jack and Jill Foundation to name but a few.

If you have an item you would like to donate to the auction, are involved with a Charity you’d like to bring to our attention, or still have to pay money off of a previous pledge please contact me via

On behalf of everyone we’ve helped so far and those we will in the future, Thank You!!
